Convert an Inventory Count Sheet to Excel
A stock count scrawled on a clipboard, or a printed count sheet filled in by hand — either way, retyping item names, SKUs, and quantities afterward is the slow part. Upload a photo or scan and get the count back as an editable spreadsheet instead.

Typed or handwritten counts, both welcome
A printed count sheet with filled-in blanks extracts about as reliably as any typed table. A fully handwritten tally sheet is harder for OCR to read cleanly — treat that case the way you would any handwritten table, and plan to check the editable preview before trusting the quantities.
Your count sheet isn't stored
The image or PDF is sent to our OCR provider only to extract the table and isn't saved on our servers afterward. The spreadsheet itself is generated in your browser.
Inventory sheet to Excel — FAQ
Does this work for a handwritten inventory count?+
Yes — a clipboard count sheet filled in by hand works the same way any handwritten table does: legible, printed letters and clearly separated columns extract more reliably than cramped cursive. Review the editable preview afterward, since handwriting is the hardest input for any OCR to read perfectly.
Will it keep my item numbers and SKUs accurate, not reformatted as numbers?+
Columns whose header reads like an identifier — SKU, reference number, item code, that kind of thing — are kept as plain text rather than being turned into numbers or totaled, since a code like "00231" losing its leading zero to spreadsheet auto-formatting is exactly the kind of mistake that shouldn't happen silently.
Can I convert a whole stack of count sheets in one go?+
The free tool processes one sheet at a time, so a stack gets uploaded and reviewed one page at a time rather than all together.
Is my count sheet stored anywhere?+
No. It's sent to our OCR provider only to extract the table, never saved on our servers, and the Excel file is generated in your browser.
What file types and sizes can I upload?+
Images (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP) up to 10MB, and PDFs up to 15MB.
